kendra spears shot by lachlan bailey for the last magazine #4 combines surgical and sportswear into something both fragile and intense. the bandages transform in each shot from having this tension and sexiness to being almost tragic, something that is examined also through the different texture (ruches, pleats, straps) and shape of the clothing. i love how the leggings create lines that look like muscle and the meadham kirchhoff pants bring a focus to the knees and specifically joints but still manage a fluidity between shots of leotards and sports bras.
